If my mail lady was this well dressed while on the job, I'd be outside--rain, sleet or snow, eager to get those Sally Mae statements. -_- ..& you know!

I really love her trench vest. 

About a month ago I made one of my own, by cutting the sleeves off of a trench that I bought years ago but have never worn. ...It's from a Turkish brand that I once worked for, LTB by Little Big. 

It started off mint green but I dyed it a bit [sort of evergreen] to give it more of a Fall appropriate feel. 

The buttons are plastic and BLAH ..so before I share it with you guys, I have to find really nice buttons that'll add the perfect accent.

Writings on the wall: The Braidy Bunch

So I decided not to go with the hair in my face thingy that I spieled about. 

This made more sense for me anyway, seeing as though I've officially decided to grow out my 'hawk. 

My braids fall a bit below my waist. I love them. 

I just don't know how I feel about sitting in a chair for another 8 hours, when I need to take these out and do them again. ..That's a gig.  o_o

But beauty is pain. ..I guess. 

SN: I think everyone should have one of these light-weight Army jackets in their closet. 

It is definitely a FALL staple. I usually only see the vintage print, which is what prompted me to get this one. 

It's perfect for layering [which I can't wait to do. I cried for summer to stay now I'm crying for the temp to drop.]. It looks great dressed down and even cuter dressed up [maxi skirt/dress. It gives anything, extra girly, a tough/chic twist. .It's truthfully one of my favorite things right now.

As much as I am enjoying this hot and steamy summer - I must be honest with both you and myself - I am just DYYYING to throw on a pair of skinnies and a trench coat. ..I mean, how long can one be naked!?

It seems that my summer look has transformed into some type of modern hippie, gypsy, lady.
[just threw some terms together]
But it's for the most part inconsistent in every sense of the word - dipped from head to toe in CHIC.
...& It works.

Lately, however, I've been fantasizing, heavily about ultra feminine pieces for fall.
Uber classic looks and tooons of monochrome.
Though I see LOTS of prints everywhere - I really just want to keep it basic. All red everything. or Brown. or Cerulean. :-\ ...idk, I'll work it out.

Must say Kudos to Preen for their choice of skirt. Long with a never ending split? ARE YOU MAD?
;) I just love when designers cater to my long legs.
Now once they start catering to my budget, life'll be a BEACH!

Being the trinket junkie that I am, you'll always find me going goo-goo over most things unique, colorful, sometimes classic, that always makes a statement - which I can throw on either my wrists or fingers.

Luckily for me there are loads of jewelry brands with outstanding aesthetics that I can choose from.

One brand that caught my eye, most recently, happens to be VintageHanger, which is based out of New York and was created based on the concept "one man's trash, is another man's treasure". ...I mean, not really [but more or less] lol.
