When it comes to what inspires me, it's never one thing in particular. 

I'm inspired by how I feel, by the feelings of others and how they express themselves, by colors, the rain, sunsets, the way someone speaks, walks, how they dress, music, art, darkness, silence, fear ...& believe me, it goes on. 

Right now, however, I am most moved by jewelry. Gold jewelry in particular. 

I'm automatically reminded of the Goddesses of Egypt upon sight of it. It was gold that birthed my interest in Hinduism [Hindu women wear gold jewelry/ornaments on many different parts of their body. & each placement has its own meaning.] For a while it was gaudy in my eyes. ...Now I find it to be regal. & I guess I owe that to my acquired knowledge. I think it's a beautiful element.

Can't Believe He's Not Famous

WHY? ...Well, because he's 'bout the craftiest mofo person on the planet ...next to Martha Stewart, Erica Domesek and ummm ..Myself ...hehe :)

Game: Full Time Charmer, Style Maven, Designer and all things above and beyond. 

We're standing around at work, traffic's slow. ..Fabio goes into our 'lil bit o' everything' drawer and pulls out a piece of resin that apparently fell off of this really beautiful skeleton sculpture that we're selling [12gs]. 

o.O [probably shouldn't' have told you that]

Why we still have it? Who Knows. ...What does he plan to do with it? ...I no longer ask these questions. 

This guy will make a necklace, bracelet, ring, BROOCH ...out of anything! 

And as you see above, ..he wrapped some string around that bad boy and now has a pretty cool neck piece. 

..AND RING.

The smaller piece of resin was tied with string around a key chain holder. 

Before we left, he stepped outside for no more than 2 seconds and returned with 2 huge wooden frames that someone, more than likely, didn't want anymore. ..Resourceful? UNDERSTATEMENT. 

..He's like ..Captain Planet of the art world.

...& It gets better. ..You'll be seeing more of his "projects" soon. 

[Yesterday I went for 'Gym Chic' with my 3/4 hoodie, white tee and slinky pants. My fit was super comfy. Shoes? not so much. ..But they're cute. & were DIY'd by me.]

Dropping Jewels

I was just sitting here thinking, randomly, of my wardrobe and investments.

& with doing so, I've noticed that I probably have about 2/3 accessory pieces that actually mean something to me and can be kept for years upon years w/o tarnishing. ..I want more of those.

I never really put much thought into my accessory & it's odd because everyone knows, it is the accessory that punctuates the outfit. I never expect or care to keep them forever so I usually look to H&M or something like The Cinderella Shop to supply the goods which aren't really "goods" at all.

There's a bin that I have at home and 2 hooks hanging from my wall with necklaces and rings and other little trinkets. I've made up my mind to dispose of them all. I'll probably bag it and save it for my cousin, maybe sell it for dirt and start all over.

No offense to Kelly, but I can live with getting something like this from H&M and places of that kind.

Which is what I usuallly do if ever I'm in the mood to razzle dazzle my ears [which is rare]. I'm more of a 'diamond studs my mom gave me' kinda girl. I wear them everyday.

So what I'm looking to gain is a very chic and timeless Mens watch, more than a few precious necklaces, bracelets and rings. I love rings. I want my jewelry to spark conversation. ..For my wrist alone to inspire your next outfit or purchase.

..that's just me ;)

To get a head start on my collection, I was thinking of treating myself to one of these for the Holidays.

Product Review | LuShae Jewelry

Today, after running a few errands, I was happy to find that my gift from LuShae Jewelry has arrived.

My shipment with the Australia based brand was processed only about a week ago - so I was really excited to see that it came so fast. Definitely didn't expect it. 

;) ;) ;) 

I must commend the folks over at LuShae for creating such a beautiful ring. 

I found it really hard to make a decision when browsing through their collection of earrings, rings, pendants and bracelets but as you can see, the Athenian ring [which is made out of real gold and cz's] stole my heart. && even more so after seeing it in person.

It's a really unique piece with tons of personality [perfect for me.]
