04072010 - Fun Times ;)

I would've never imagined yesterday being as random as it turned out. Whitney and I was having lunch at Dos Caminos when I blurted out, "Hey, let's get tattoos". She was a little thrown at first but was down for the get down at the end of it all. With the sun practically sitting on our shoulders we walked to Washington Sq. where we ran into an angry couple, fighting [visualize: a razor so that he can "chop her up", a rope for choking and a metal rod for clobbering] ....It was definitely time to go. Especially, seeing as though we just couldn't decide on a decent tat.

Next stop, Marc Jacobs. I absolutely love his accessories store for their fun tees, totes and wallets. Every now and then you may find a DOPE ring, and I obsess over those too. Whitney and I purchased a black fanny pack that says "Marc Jackass" ..can't wait to wear it. && speaking of wearing, at this point, we were worn out! Nothng else made sense other than finding a place to park [the biggest obstacle of the day]. I mean, walking is never an issue but we were no where near being equipped to walk with bags while the shade played hide and seek. Washington Sq. Park was an option but NYU's finest [students not cops] claimed their spots leaving us with zero space to sit.

The cute little park on Thompson was our last choice, so that's where we headed. Though we didn't quite make it there once I spotted a nail salon offering mani's for 10 bux. I thought "pretty paws", while Whitney's only thought was to "rest the piggies". Fortunately, we were both successful. & once my hands were nicely massaged and well painted, we headed to Famous Ben's [the city's BEST pizzeria]. I didn't intend on grabbing a slice, but once the smell hit my nose, I couldn't allow myself to leave without one. Whit had an icee ;)

The highlight of my day had to be when Jada tried to hook me up with one of Holister's hot gents. The whole situation was totally awkward but left me with loads of laughs. Overall, I'd say I had a bomb day. ..Can't wait to do it again ;)
