Yesterday was the first day of Spring, and what a beautiful day it was!
...The day before, I wanted to go out so bad but couldn't really wrap my mind around what to do, so I decided to wait it out. && I'm pretty happy that I did. The anticipation from that day was only added to yesterday's anticipation which made the whole adventure worth it once I hit the city pavement.
From Brooklyn to Manhattan is where I went [Soho, to be exact] with the intentions of soaking up the sun, sippin' a lemonade from Dean & Deluca and snapping pics of all the things that made me smile. ..&& I am happy to say, that mission was successfully accomplished.
In regards to the things that made me smile, I took my first street style pics yesterday ;) ...Seeing as though it was my first time, I was a little hesitant about approaching people but I feel the two that I did get were great!
[She simply looked like a doll! & was really sweet ;)]
I loved the cool-ness of her look. It's very dressed-up/dressed-down, which is almost always the route I take when putting together an outfit. I truly wish I would've asked her who made her sunnies, I adore them.
&& as you can see, for both ladies, CHANEL was the bag of choice.
West Broadway Jazz
Were it not for music, we might in these days say, the Beautiful is dead.

[this happened to me yesterday, but ..I wore denim shorts lol *wipes forehead*]
Washington Square Park
I was truly blown away by this guy. At first glance, one would think he's simply on his knees with a piece of chalk, but the pretty picture that you see below was actually made with what appears to be chalk dust or some kind of colored sand. It's amazing.
